Bio: “I decided to become a teacher because I want to
make a difference in a child’s life. I enjoyed all my high
school years and I want students to enjoy their experience as
well.” Currently, Auberry is working as a volunteer in the Kent
School District, an office assistant in TRIO student support
program at Green River, and is cheering for Green River too.

Short Bio: “I decided to become a teacher
because I really love kids & I have always been excited
about school.” Currently, Lauren is spending 33 hours in a

Short Bio:
“I volunteered in a private school in the inner-city of
Philadelphia in 07-08 for one year. I volunteered doing
student counseling, substituting, and helping out around the
school. It made me really appreciate teachers more and
more.” Currently, Matt is working and helping in Tacoma
schools tutoring 8th grade subjects.

Short Bio: “I love working with kids, and
there’s nothing more satisfying to me than seeing that light
bulb go off above a child’s head when they learn something
new.” Currently, Holly is working to complete 33 hours of
classroom experience for EDU 170.
